very December sees a growing pile of brightly wrapped presents under the tree in the main foyer as the Pier’s residents contribute their “suitable for a boy aged 4-8” or “for a girl less than two” parcels. A few days before Christmas these are transported to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead to bring a little joy into some small lives.
